Teeth Whitening Epping

Teeth Whitening Epping Dental Dentist

Let’s face it. The whiter your teeth are, the better they look for most people. However, you probably know by now that brushing every day or using whitening toothpaste doesn’t exactly achieve that bright and shiny white state, just like people in those ads and commercials have. But that’s where we come in.

The Advantages of a Teeth Whitening Service

Basically, stains on your teeth are either extrinsic or intrinsic. Extrinsic stains are the ones found on the surface of a tooth, which is why in general, they can be removed through consistently brushing with whitening toothpaste or using a mouth rinse. On the other hand, intrinsic stains exist in between the microcracks in the enamel of a tooth, as well as deep within the dentin (which is the layer of tooth underneath the enamel). Those stubborn and unattractive intrinsic stains are the ones which make your teeth look discoloured.

Teeth Whitening at Home

For our take-home teeth whitening procedure, we apply our own whitening gel (containing peroxide) to your teeth so as to penetrate the enamel and get rid of the discoloured molecules.

Custom made trays are made and a bleaching kit is provided which contains the whitening gel. It is supposed to stay in your mouth for only 20 minutes a day, but you’ll realise just how amazingly effective the results are. This technique perfectly is safe on both your teeth and gums.

In-Clinic Teeth Whitening (Chair Side Technique)

This procedure is the quicker and more efficient of the two that you can go through. The whole thing will be done inside the clinic. You can get your teeth thoroughly and completely whitened within a single hour. Just lie back and relax while your teeth get whiter using our special activating light.
